# Veinlit Obsidian Deity

A near-black baroque mass, mirrored into a Rorschach and fringed with feathered wisps, its silhouette unchanging and its whole surface tiled with glowing hooks that each change species on their own schedule. Each hook is one arc under five interpolated numbers, so it morphs by deforming, not cross-fading, through four forms: fat scale, crescent hook, barbed claw, hair filigree. Bass plates the surface, treble etches it. Rests as the crescent hook.
