# Veined Wing Diptych

A bilateral pair of membrane wings on a slim spine, their veins drawn by onion shells cut through a domain that is itself warped, so the venation ripples with the membrane instead of being painted flat on it; it rests folded and half-lit and opens to a spread pair and then to long swept primaries as the spectrum brightens.
