# Iridescent Thistle Star

A thistle star on a scalloped hub of chroma rings that never changes, wearing fourteen spines that each change species on their own schedule. Each is one primitive under seven interpolated numbers, so it morphs by deforming, not cross-fading, through four forms: broad scale plate, plated needle, barbed thorn, hair quill. Every scale edge still splits into a real RGB fringe. Bass plates the star, treble strips it to quills. Rests as the plated needle.
