Drive frequency follows the spectrum, bowing the plate through four figures: a bass ring-in-diamond, a mid rosette, a treble star lattice, a fine mesh, each a superposition of the plate's cosine modes. Bass flexes the brass and squeezes the sand thinner, treble lifts dust above the antinodes, a kick throws the grains. Rests as the rosette.
