# Blacklacquer Coral

A wet black lacquer coral: a knot of glossy orbs and two amber lanterns, unchanging, crossed by six arms that each change species on their own schedule. Each arm is one primitive under eight interpolated numbers, so it morphs by deforming, not cross-fading, through four forms: fat bead club, segmented lacquer arm, barbed whip, hair antenna. Bass swells the arms into clubs, treble draws them out to antennae, and the change sweeps arm by arm. Rests as the segmented arm.
